Privacy & Cookies

Information processed when you visit

The public crane tools do not require you to create an account or provide your name, email address or other profile information. Like most web services, the hosting infrastructure may process technical request information such as your IP address, browser/request details, requested page and time of access in server logs. This information is used for security, reliability, fault diagnosis and operation of the Service.

Crane inputs

Values entered into the public crane tools — such as load, radius, height and crane selections — are operational inputs to produce the requested result. Do not enter personal, confidential or commercially sensitive information into fields that do not ask for it.

Cookies and device storage

The public-facing website does not currently use advertising or analytics cookies. Administrative areas use strictly necessary security/session technology to authenticate authorised administrators and may use browser session storage to retain administrative interface state. These technologies are used to provide and secure the requested administrative service rather than for advertising or cross-site tracking.

Sharing and retention

Technical information is processed by the systems and service providers needed to host and secure the website. It is not sold for advertising. Server logs are retained according to the operational log-rotation and security arrangements used for the Service and are not intended as user profiles.

Your rights

UK data-protection law may give you rights in relation to personal information held about you, including rights of access and, in appropriate circumstances, correction or deletion. If you have a privacy enquiry or wish to exercise a right, use the contact details published by CS Lifting and identify the request clearly.

Changes to this notice

This notice will be updated if the Service begins collecting additional personal information, introduces analytics or other non-essential storage technologies, or materially changes how information is processed.
